Go buy a Mac without MacOS installed and/or a Sun workstation/server without SunOS installed. Then come back and we'll talk about it.

Bzzt. You can buy an UltraSparc with Linux. If not now, you will soon be able to buy a Mac with PPC Linux instead of Mac OS.
