Bad Bad Bad Bad numbers!

I have been a long term stockholder of Vtel and have even put them on my list of preferred stocks for 1999. The second quarter's losses are shameful.

In a market where every serious competitor has managed to add to the top line, Vtel has had a serious case of impotence. It has messed up....consistently! This is the latest in a long series of disappointments from Vtel in practically the longest economic expansion ever.

Going back four years the chart for this company is a disgrace. The whole den of idiots should be ashamed of this last quarter. I have absolutely no respectable words to utter to top management. But do wish to let Jerry Benson and Dick Moeller know they can add one more name to the long list of people who thinks they are a couple of incompetent clowns! I truly wish stockholders would be able to sue for utter stupidity on the part of management. We would have a wonderful case.

I feel Vtel has continually misleaded investors talking about getting things "under control" from annual report to annual report. Count me in on any stockholder action against the company.
