Well at least we can sell it to Saddam so we can track him. IMO, the security feature will be a big plus going forward when commerce on the nnet develops. For example, right now you have to remember so many passwords to different sites and I bet many of them are the same. In effect, one of the site that has your password can try to get into other sites by guessing the password. The more site you register to the worse things get. ID on the CPU can help make things better. You may only need to remember the password to your local machine and the ID does the rest.

One of my friends at Sun says it best. Most of the RISC vendors already have similar feature in their chips. But when the 'evil empire' does it, that's when everyone complains. :)
