heh big difference between tmex and tim.. putting those two names in a sentence together is like Jesus and Judas... Nothing against tmex, nothing at all, but he DOES pump and dump, and only puts his picks out to get some more buying pressure thus affording him the luxury of 'taking out the top'...
Tim on the other hand makes every effort to get the pick out to us folks in the fairest possible manner.. he also takes the abuse when people come back and blame him for a stock going down after he picked it..
I guess before I start rambling, I better see exactly what transpired here but I have grown so disenchanted with s/i, hype, gurus etc etc over the last few weeks that I went out and landed an incredible full time job today.. :)
By the way Jane, I must admitt- I have your butt bookmarked! You are one of the few that I follow, (no im not a stalker!) along with Tim and respect your uncanny abilities to find quality just before it explodes upwards.. I also like when you bash the crew over on Anthonys thread.. Although I respect him alot, I really despise the team work going from thread to thread speading gloom and doom..
Im still holding my bottom feed position FGCI, although it came godawfully close to stopping me out today.. The close was once again confirmation to me that it has found a bottom.. This is an easy 7 1/2 - 8 1/2 recovery and I just love the limited downside, given the market conditions and what everything else can give back if things really go down the tube..
Also holding a small small position in TRL at 21 5/16. Stop on that sucker is set at 20 but the upside here is amazing.. quite a gamble tho if you look at the chart, but I can deal with a 1 5/16 loss in light of the possibility of getting 2-4 points if the chart has truelly started to reverse..
Oh well.. first interview, first faxed resume, and I landed an incredible job.. I also spent some time talking to the companies president about stocks and he was taken back by the fact that I was able to rattle off about DELL, the internet sector in general, AOL split on Monday, LU just split.. He asked why Im giving it up? and I told him the truth... some things in life you cant pay people enough to do.. Day trading is one of them.. Im a very health conscience person, and I give myself 5 years before my first stroke if I keep doing things this way.. Simply not worth being high one day and crash/burn the next.. too much stress.. Ill make a LOT less with position trading, but I also like the fact that it will be very easy to control without emotions.
lemme read these posts now and see whats going on. Im sure someone had negative things to say about FORE today which is really annoying.. Tim is great at what he does, but hell, he dosnt have ESP and people gotta understand there are risks here.. take it from me :)
time for a beer or two or three.. 2 more days of freedom and its back to the suit/tie/bottle of water and a telephone for me.. You wouldnt believe what I do for a living if I told you, and even funnier is what ill be selling and the money they will pay for me to do so.. |
