kevin, Dirty little secret Inte and Dell does not want you to know. the sram cost is part of the cost differential of 1,650 between the dell 7000 pentiumIII inspiratoin and the new gateway amdk-6/2-400. by the time you spec out the Intel offering to properly deliver flawless video you have to hang $1,600 of expensive support electronics.
