G, the previous declines last year all started in an orderly fashion. The news commentators were commending the ordinary investors for their composure and lack of panic . It usually takes an unexpected event to spark panic. Mere insidious selling by foreigners or bonds rising or yen dropping would not do it. You need something on the scale of Russian default to cause panic. I don't see it for tomorrow. But more orderly selling ? perhaps. -Sarmad
