ZP; decided to approach Abit just on the basis of how the board was behaving with a 2 monitor setup, (which I had been testing with Microsoft tech this afternoon). The technician said he had used those cards in combination; there was no compatability issue, either intra card or between either card & the board. Also, either one (AGP or PCI) should be able to function as a primary or secondary...In short, the board was not functioning "normally" & should be returned. I learned a lot (of course, relatively, it's the tip of the iceberg:-) & thank you & JW & Sapper for your help. Best wishes. d.
