Thanks Allen. I had guessed that the Zip-file predated the Zip drive. I'm curious though as to the derivation of the "Zip" name, or whether Iomega had to purchase rights to use the Zip name.

Being a Mac user, I guess that explains why I wouldn't know what a Zip-file is.
