Mike, I have an SMOD position too: just 4,000 long. Just for discussion purposes, if their report was so great, why did the stock settle to the bottom of the toilet? Apparently sellers of approximately 830K shares today didn't think the earnings were all that great, despite the increase in revenues.
Am I impatient? I don't think so. I've owned this stock for nearly two years.
IMHO, I think there's a leadership problem because with all of their business partners, their position in technology, and the prospects for future top line growth, the company should be impressing the hell out of analysts and shareholders alike. So, what's going on? Is management too arrogant? Too entrenched? Own too many shares and don't really give a rip because they couldn't put it to the market without driving the market value below where it currently sits? So, if they can't convert their investment to cash at some reasonable price, then we can't either?
I've tried to wish this stock up but it isn't working. Guess it gives new meaning to the old saying, "If wishes were horses, then beggers would ride...
Best regards,
