Dale, Apple has already started doing this. The floppy is optional on the larger screen 'Wallstreet' PowerBook G3's and offered only as USB add-ons for the iMacs and the new blue box G3's. Zip is standard on one of the blue boxes and, apparently, will be standard on several upcoming PowerBook G3's.
