EU mergers and takeovers -- (UPDATED FEB 17)

BRUSSELS, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Following are additions and deletions to the list of takeovers, mergers and joint ventures being
reviewed by the European Commission under the EU's merger regulation (*).

The Commission has a month to clear or start a detailed, four-month probe after a deal has been filed, but can extend a first-phase
probe by two weeks if it has identified competition problems and companies are willing to address them.
