Uri, Commodore was one of about 200 former tech cos. I used to follow when I was an analyst at a mutual fund co. <g> I bring up the names to 30 year old portfolio managers and they act like I'm from Mars. But a 17 year old knows all about it.

Hey, it is probably better to start with a loser. My first stock was a huge winner of an IPO called Medtronic and I still hold it today. Once it doubled, I knew I was a genius. The next two I bought were Ampex and National Equipment Rental. Both now gone or as good as gone, though I did get out of NER with a profit. Not Ampex. Bought at $40, sold at $6. I felt less like a genius after that. Who would have thought that the co. that invented the video cassette recorder could lose so much money on it? <g>
