You may have a point. However, I hope that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE is expecting any kind of positive news on the earnings announcement. Management has all but guaranteed a weak number and losses at last quarter's cc. Nothing's been said publically to change that whatsoever. If you're in CIEN, be ready for volatility. This does seem like an effort to prop up the stock so that somebody can get out before the axe falls on Friday. Then again, that could be the paranoia talking... -John
