Exactly my point, I am actually quite happy that my first investment went down the tubes. It tought me to do my research and due diligence. I spent the next two years reading and learning about the market. Now, I have worked my up to managing investments for a number of clients. If everybody lost money on their first investment and everybody pretended as if they could only make 20 trades over a course of a lifetime (Wareen Buffet plug), perhaps people would make more money.
