Ben, If your looking for a long term stock with enormous potential you should research Cyrix and AMD. They both have significant upside potential with very exciting new product offerings.

AMD, for the first time, will be introducing a product as fast as Intel's best (Pentium Pro & Klamath) in the next couple of months. Cyrix will be introducing the M2, which I also expect to rival Intel's top performers. Additionally, Cyrix is introducing the 5gx86, a low cost, highly integrated low-end pentium class product, that promises to make the less than 1000.00 dollar PC common place this year.

Already, well placed rumors, indicate that Compaq will be selling computers based on the 5gx86. Many other OEM computer manufacturers are considering using the 5gx86. Also, the AMD K6 is being considered by many Tier 1 manufacturers. You can bet that these announcements will happen with little pre-release publicity.

Be prepared for a negative Intel Stock reaction to each of these events and a lot of these events are going to happen over the next three months.
