BOHEMIA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 6, 1997--Computer Concepts Corp. (NASDAQ:CCEE) announced today that its wholly-owned SOFTWORKS subsidiary has signed agreements worth more than $750,000 to provide new SST products to two major telecommunications companies. The agreements cover enterprise-wide licensing and maintenance fees for several products from SOFTWORKS' new DataStor Arena and Performance Arena suites.

Under the terms of the agreements, these two major telecommunications companies have agreed to standardize on SOFTWORKS' SST products and will implement the solutions on existing systems, and new systems, as processing capacity is added in the future.

DataStor Arena and Performance Arena products are part of SOFTWORKS SavanTechnology (SST) solution sets, announced last week, for managing systems performance, data, storage, communications and Year 2000 issues across a multi-platform enterprise.

According to Computer Concepts' President Dan DelGiorno, Jr., "We are pleased that SOFTWORKS' new SST technology and products are gaining significant customer acceptance. We believe that the investments we've made in the company's SST technology are now paying off by allowing us to meet the needs of organizations as they implement distributed platforms. In addition, the company's enhanced distribution channels and marketing efforts are allowing SOFTWORKS to increase its average contract value by enabling it to sell broader solutions to larger organizations."
