I have to agree. I just don't see Disney snapping up PIXR at this point. These kinds of Rumours about mergers between yahoo and disney and apple and pixar and EVERYONE is being bought by lucent are just speculation. I actually think it is funny when I step back and think about it.

I think that Disney and PIXAR might be working on more projects which might note an expansion in PIXAR staff and maybe a ramp up in the time it takes to create a feature, but a buy out just seems premature.

Besides, Disney bought too much in the last few years (like ABC) and I think that they are trying to sort it all out, especially with the new GO.COM which released late. (It was once targeted for November)

And so we just press on for the long haul. I did expect the price to be up over 50 by now and I am a little surpirsed that this stock isn't really taking off. Granted the markets have had a difficult February, traditionally PIXAR didn't follow the market on the sharp downturns.
