I am going to go one step further and make a call to the NASD and SEC. I had spoke to two people at Pershing (our clearing firm, one of the biggest) yesterday and their understanding meshed with mine, except for the fact that I had the IPO issue off. Now, i didnt talk to some margin clerk, but one of the top people in the stock loan department and he seemed like he knew exactly what the rules, codes and house rules were. I will though make another call. I never claim to know it all and If we could ever get a straight answer from the NASD or SEC, live would be grand. They dont do that. -Steve@yamner.com
