<I made my first trade when I was 15. >

Wish that I had the bucks. Our play in college was to buy Gold when it went off the standard. Unfortunately, I could barely afford gasoline at 32 cents a gallon or whatever it was.

Of course, college in those years was $200 a semester and my scholarship paid a whopping $500 bucks a year. So perhaps it was not so bad.

No, I did not make a trade until I was 26. It was very profitable however. Anyway, I'm not trying to slam this person I just thought the piece was subtle in that it was intended to make the average 1999 investor look the fool.
