Hey there --

From what I've read, NOTES was ceasing to support Novell as of 2 months ago.

They released a press brief in that they were pulling product support for NOTES on NetWare and throwing their might behind Windows NT (and IBM AIX). If IBM wants to buy Novell, don't you think they would have told their step-brothers at LOTUS about it and made sure they had their ducks in a row?

The only other thing I would read into this would be that IBM did buy NOVL and sold off it's GroupWise product or merely absorbed that installed base into their LOTUS Notes division thereby giving they a larger lead in the groupware market.

But that's just one piece of that entire "IBM buys Novell" theory....
