Miles: Jack Banks is still a very large shareholder of DVNTF but apparently has little to do with the company. Their annual report for period ending Oct 31 96 should be mailed soon to registered shareholders and those who are on their fax/mailing list (I am).
John Wiseman is DEFINATELY one of Banks' people! At least this guy returns his calls and is willing to talk to shareholders. He called me last August and said that nothing was going to happen with the company until the first quarter of 97 and to hold on and be patient. Well, looks like he is correct!
This is the absolute worst investment I've made in dollar term loses. Like a jerk, I averaged down when I should have shorted this fiasco. Me and several others I know bought on HYPE coming from TIPIF's Investor Relations Group--a company hired by TIPIF for their investor relations work. I've never shorted a stock yet, but if I can get back a good amount of my losses and determine that it is being hyped again, I'll short it! We have about $250,000 invested in this company-about 5 of us. We are NOT happy shareholders!!!
I read your earlier "newsy" thread and was impressed with what you had to say and the degree of your research into the inner workings of TIPIF aka DVNTF. I hope all interested investors, both current and prospective, will read it and heed accordingly! Your efforts are a valuable contribution to this thread and sincerely appreciated!
Do you think it is probable that Banks will merger all his losers together into one single company...Gaming Lottery, Diversinet and Warp 10??? The thought has occurred to me as soon as TIPIF announced that they were changing their marketing direction.
Back in September when the stock price went from .25 cents to over $1.65 in a few days, one of our WISER friends bought 100,000 shares at .31 cents, yes, .31 cents, and sold at $1.50. What a killing!!! GOOD FOR HIM! Something to think about...
