Payforview.com Secures Merchandising Agreement With CBS SPORTSLINE
RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 18, 1999--
Payforview.com (PAYV) is pleased to announce a signed letter of acceptance to become the merchandising agent for CBS SPORTSLINE'S (SPLN) web site, SOCCERNET (http://www.soccernet.com).
This agreement gives Payforview's wholly owned subsidiary SPORTSWORLDLIVE.COM, the responsibility to implement a fully automated merchandising fulfillment system for the SoccerNet store. The terms of the agreement will be subject to a long form contract and will include sourcing of new items, order processing, fulfillment and delivery and the designing of an automated interface between the two companies.
CBS SportsLine (http://cbs.sportsline.com) is largest sports oriented site on the web, is owned in part by CBS Television and attracts 8 million page hits each day. The SoccerNet site is run in conjunction with the UK's Daily Mail newspaper (http://www.dailymail.co.uk), one of the most widely read newspapers in England, and receives over 2 million hits per day.

Nic Meredith is a British born classical music and choral scholar, who started his business career in 1983 at PROGRAMMES LIMITED, the largest Direct Marketing firm in Europe and the pioneer of business to business direct marketing in the U.K. In 1985, Mr. Meredith created the practice of what is now known as ''Shareholder Relations'' and co-wrote the legal protocol regarding the use of direct marketing for Panel of Take-overs, Mergers and Acquisitions in England. Mr. Meredith was responsible for completing 22 successful campaigns with all of the top British merchant banks and was instrumental in the conclusion of GUINNESS/DISTILLERS take-over bid. Mr. Meredith spent 5 years with PROGRAMMES LIMITED ending up as Production Director. After 6 years as an independent Direct Marketing Consultant, working for such clients as LLOYDS BANK, MASTERCARD, THE AA and STILL PRICE LINTAS.
Mr. Meredith turned to the film industry to utilize his previous production and finance experience and worked on BLUE ICE, (MICHAEL CAINE & SEAN YOUNG), SAVAGE HEARTS (RICHARD HARRIS, MARYAM & JERRY HALL) and THE INNOCENT SLEEP, (RUPERT GRAVES & ANNABELLA SCIORRA).
In 1985, Mr. Meredith moved to Canada to form a television production company and was Executive Producer of the WTN NETWORK program ''METRO CAFE'' which won a prestigious CAN PRO AWARD for best CANADIAN VARIETY SERIES in 1997. With business partner Warren Wayne, he formed Voyager International Entertainment in 1998 with William Stuart of Aurora Productions in Los Angeles.
