Mark,

The introduction of a faster chip always brings some degree of pricing pressure to the previous top of the line. Of course more money can be charged for the faster chip, which should offset the lost income elsewhere. The entire issue is the timing of such releases which relate both to technological advancements and to considerations of profitability. The more I consider the issue, the more I am convinced that these two factors are inextricably linked.
