Agreed about the convenience of big removable HDD over a Jaz. Don't get me wrong--I think having something like a zip is a good idea, for repeated key file backup, durability, extreme portability, and for using on other systems e.g. via a parallel connection. But with a cheap solution like zip or LS-120 for that purpopse, the HDD's have it all over the Jaz. Much faster, too.

BTW all the understandings you posted last night about removables are correct. And if the two HDD's are partitioned the same, there would be no configuration adjustments.

To Clarence--that's right, you don't have to crack the case. Just pull them out. Supposedly, this can be done now under win 98 even without a reboot (i.e. while the system is running) tho I have some doubts about this.)
