Mattie, Look at the vol in the first 100 mins. If the pace continues, the closing vol will be ~1.1B. A strong close(2315) with a volume of ~1B is a good sign of reversal. The good thing about today vs. last week is that right after that strong Thurs., unfortunately we were hit with some major bad news(dell). That has been the case in the last two weeks. Any time we came close to breaking out(especially in the DOW), some major bad news hit us. There is no major earnings-related bad news ahead. Since the DOW & BKX look good too, we are in a good shape for a while. Today's close matter a lot. Why is MSFT so weak? DOJ-related????? Clint
