"Speaking only for myself, I am pleasantly surprised the stock is only down 8. I expected more pain. I also expect the company to be in repurchasing shares on Friday [after a 48-hour SEC blackout following earnings] and this will probably help stabilize the situation a little bit.

I own a lot of Janus20. Scott Schoelzel is a disciple of Thomas Marsico who has Marsico Fund which in turns invests heavily in Dell. This is the first time I heard about 48-hour SEC blackout rule. With a lot of cash (did not MCD say that 75% of cash flow is used to buy back shares?), it is logical that the buy back will start tomorrow. Today is the last day to get Dell at blue light special!!
