Time is approaching for Q to quit being Mr. Nice guy. If convergence talks fail before April trial, then Q has to get tough with these WCDMA trials and start litigation against companies ie ERICY, NOKIA, and DoCommo. Q has to protect its CDMA2000 franchise. Tero is right vendors are now starting to commit large sums of development money to 3G. Q has to signal in strongest terms that Erricson etc are playing with an empty deck ie IPRS. In todays environment ala fortress Europe, if Q does not get down and dirty in the trenches it will lose the 3G wars.
