Edamo, I've sold a few puts in the last couple of days (CMGI Jun 85, BCST Jul 45) and am comfortable with my choices. In general, I find the puts that are 4-5 months out to be the most attractive. When I look at those a year out the % increase in the premiums over Jun-July puts is not great, though they give you more time to be right.

Of course it depends on a whole pile of other factors, but in general, how far out (months) are the puts you find most attractive?
