Greg, are you aware of how many flip flops the great Cramer has done in about two weeks? Remember his comments on the GS conference. This guy is a classic manic personality. I'm not saying this observation is wrong.

Besides, I don't think DELL was punished at all. It was the folks who bought all of the inflated expectations of the last couple of weeks who were punished. Look at how the hypsters (many on this thread) in the last few weeks were pushing the stock like Florida swamp land real estate agents you'll see what I mean. Look at the discussion you and I had a few months ago in which we agreed that price appreciation for Dell would inevitably slow down.

It was the momentum guys that got burned because they don't watch the fundamentals. Dell's earnings were good. Dells growth in sales were good (not as good as expected, but still solid). Had the last couple of weeks been wiped out Dell's stock would have been down a couple of points -- no big deal.

Look at the folks who hear voices pushing others to buy. Look at all the people getting sucked up into unrealistic expectations. That's the culprit.

And the funny thing is that Cramer is as guilty as some of the lunatics inhabiting SI. Maybe more, because he has some credibility.

TTFN,
