As I stated in an earlier post I think to you, T has made an agreement with TWX only involving cable telephony. The agreement takes a wise "hands off" policy in matters of cable.

T can't tell TWX that they can't carry AOL's coming broadband service. TWX already has been in discussions with AOL about it.

This extrapolation of bad blood between T and AOL because of some twitch in the past, is way out of line. If you were to get Armstrong to make a statement about it, he would deny all such views. He would deny it because it isn't in T's interest to pursue some useless vendetta that could cost the company plenty.

You can play footsy to an extent in the ego game, but if you compromise company interests accordingly, the shareholders will give you the boot even if your name is Gerschner. Within the corporate boardroom it is considered the worst sin of all.
