Mr. James Tong, President of Golden Fortune Investments Limited ASE:GFX) is pleased to announce a distribution and marketing agreement with SKF Millenium Sales Inc. for the exclusive global rights to the marketing and sales of their Y2Kit Home Inventory Diagnostic Program for the Chinese market, within the Chinese language.
The Agreement grants Golden Fortune Investments Limited (GFX) the ability to utilize all material, logos and graphics in the development of the Chinese marketing package. The Company may market the Y2Kit utilizing radio, television, Internet, direct channels, distribution channels, telemarketing among others.
GFX recognizes the opportunity and timeliness of the Internet as a venue to promote its product through a Chinese language-based website. The site will be designed, constructed, operated and managed by Blue Sky Interactive Inc., and is expected to be operational within two weeks. Visitors to the website will be able to access a Chinese language version of the Y2Kit information, mirroring SKF Millennium's Y2Kit English template.
GFX intends to conduct a comprehensive marketing campaign initially targeting the Chinese media in North America with the plan to subsequently expand into additional markets throughout Mainland China and the Pacific Rim. Additionally, the electronic shopping network will be facilitated by an American organization that has all the necessary security features for credit card billing along with the required U.S. and Canadian government tax reporting and payment mechanisms.
The Y2Kit is based on a database compiled and designed around an average home's appliances and electronic components that contain embedded microchips. Three years in the making, the database includes such items as automobiles, cellular phones, computers, DVD players, furnace/heating systems, fax machines, kitchen appliances, pagers and sewing machines to name a few. The Y2Kit offers the information necessary to recognize what household items may be affected by the Year 2000 date roll-over, and explains the steps to take to ensure that potential problems are corrected beforehand.
