Janice,

You certainly wind up in some interesting corners of the investment world :)

Revolutionary french fry vendor machines. The first company I ever saw get excited about this market was in Salt Lake City in the late 70s. I was with a large money center bank then and we were financing them. Great fries. And the machine worked great, on site. They never got it going on a mass basis. The next company was ut of Idaho. Since then I've heard of a couple of others. All revolutionary designs.

It struck me as quaintly curious at how many people get excited by this market. A veritable Holy Grail of the fast food vending market, french fry vending machines. I guess it makes sense in a way. People love french fries and they love convenience. Should be a natural fit. Unfortunately the previous machines had problems in the field. Self cleaning and self contained proved elusive. The machines required a lot of maintenance. Oil tend to spill out after awhile and unless the machines were constantly cleaned would develop a nasty smell. And the quality was hard to maintain. Think of vending machine coffee. Pretty simple and they couldn't possibly have designed it to taste that bad. How have TFRY dealt with the maintenance and odor issues?

Regards

Henry
