jach, Your lack of accounting knowledge is really showing. Cisco and their accountant has been in close communication for years on this subject with the SEC. If you would look at their 10K's and their annual reports you would see that they go into this in great detail. Their write-offs do not bother me in the slightest with my current understanding of corporate accounting. Eric
