Chuzzlewit, I remember reading somewhere that DELL would not be making a decision on entering the sub $1000 PC category before April. That is why I assumed the ASP in Q1 would not erode below $2300. However, if they do aggressively enter this category prior to April 1 we may very well see an ASP in the low $2200 range with a correspondingly big increase in volume. Re. IDC - I agree, despite what they told me I prefer to [now] believe that DELL's data is calendarized and didn't include January in the Q4 report. This means of course that in the Q1 report January will be included but not April. Regards, Gabriel
