Greetings Jim, thanks for your prompt reply. I repeat to you again, You are the one in serious error on this subject according to the Word of God. All the Apostles taught the one and same Gospel, first to the Jews then to the Gentiles. Although Peter's ministry was mainly to the Jew, while Paul's ministry was mainly to the Gentile world, they both proclaimed the same Gospel of Grace. A careful reading of Galatians 3, would show you the simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, especially verse 28, which is; " there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male or female; for YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS. You are the one Jim, who has embraced man doctrine, as is evident by this topic we are now discussing and is also further evident by your false beliefs in the rapture etc. There is one people of God, those of the Old Testament, namely Israel, who looked forward to the promise given to Abraham ( Gen 12:3 ), and those of the New Testament, Namely Israel ( comprising Jew and Gentile )who look back to the fullfillment of that promise by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible was not written by Scoefield, who I believe is largely responsible for this grievious error, along with Hal Lindsay and multiple others who teach Christians soothing things that they want to hear, but by faithful men ,inspired by the Holy Spirit and willing to lay thier lives down for the Eternal Gospel to be proclaimed to all of Mankind. Please do not take my words as a personal attack against you Jim, as this is not my intent. We both know full well the meaning of the word Grace, thanks be unto our Lord. May the Holy Spirit cause you to see the truth as seen by the early saints and passed on to all who would love the Lord and seek Him with all thier heart. Robert |
