Jim I noticed your assesment of US vs Cdn value in your RRSP portfolio. I have a similar situation. I thought you might want to know that recent changes in Canada allow you to increase the % of foreign content above the stated 20% without penalty. You can do this by adding a "Labour Sponsored fund" to your RRSP account, in addition to the pretty good tax advantage of the LSF you are now allowed triple that value in foreign content above the 20% cap.. Talk to your broker or financial planner ASAP if you want to do this . Feb 28 deadline you know.. .
