I remember Jobs at the annual meeting saying something to the effect that he wanted Pixar to be the next Disney. I don't think that he meant a buyout by Disney. After his Apple experiences, I think that he has a plan to choke any plans by anyone to eat his company. They would have a hard time digesting him for sure! Also, Disney never would have made the deal with Pixar if they didn't realize that Pixar controls the TECHNOLOGY of animation (and now film production itself). If they took over Pixar (it would be an unfriendly event, I think), they would get the current technology, but not the future, and, also Lassiter (sp) is someone that has no desire to belong to Disney either. So, Disney can't do much about it except accept their share of the profits. (Written on a new iMac) From lurksville, CMM
