ah there's the rub, kiddo. Charts are subject to one's correct perception of the fundamentals. That's the problem w/ people that only trade on technicals and think they know everything. (I bet you are kinda surprised gold hasn't hit a new low yet, eh? LOL!!!)... wierd things pop up and screw 'em. Just ask the smart guys at LTCM... LOL!! The L-T direction is subject to future events. We'll know in a few weeks, which perception is correct. HO HO HO and don't lose your shirt -g-
