Will do. But I'd imagine they've got formidible opposition: the whole technology industry, the ISPs, and the FCC itself. I haven't taken the time yet to download what's on offer at the FCC site (tell you the truth, every time I try to download something, well, something awful happens, and they seem to insist on Adobe Acrobat).

I'm still formulating my reply (apparently you get only one), so that it'll be as good as it can be. My guess is that the telcos are dead in the water (does anyone imagine that they'll be filing Chapter 11s anytime soon?), but hell I've been dead wrong many times before.

Fingers crossed. Can you imagine what'd happen to the tech stocks if the telcos get their way?
