Thank you for the feedback on the shareholder's meeting.Everything
sounded upbeat. Was there anything negative mentioned at the
meeting. Did you see or hear any pertinent shareholder questions from any business analysts? What was the body language of the directors
like? Were they happy and chirpy, sounding excited about the company's prospects?. Or were they silent and glum like at a funeral? I am long on the stock and remain bullish on the company's prospects.
This is second hand information.
William O'Neil in Orlando had one of his "CANSLIM" money show conferences this week-end. As well as the guru himself, an invited guest speaker was Stan Weinstein. He advises a number of institutional and mutual funds. Zoltek is on his short list as well the "Barrons" magazine. I think the Bears have been burned by Zoltek
and they have been waiting a long time to get back/attack at it. That
is why there is a lot of rumours flying around this company.
He says it is under distribution and rolling over. Look at a weekly chart and look at volume action on up vs down weeks to see this clearly. Then look at how it responded to it's earnings news on Friday (his comments).
He, like O'Neil, said you must listen to what the stock or market is telling you via price volume, because these are FACTS. You cannot really listen too much to the earnings estimates and "story" because these are OPINIONs. And the facts will win every time. Zoltec is probably a short.
I happen to be watching the tape on Friday and thought after the
upbeat earnings release 16 cents vs 8 cents the stock would move up. Initially the first 100,000-200,000 shares pushed the stock up
to $38 but then it slump to $32 at the end of the day on a turnover of
1.2 m shares.
I think you will be able to buy more shares a lot cheaper. The bears have got Zoltek on their hit list. I never get emotional about stocks. I have seen hundreds of them come go. But I rate Zoltek a 10 bagger up their with my Cisco and Microsoft.
Something is very fishy. I don't know if I should ride with this company or not.
