Are they really going to use vat leaching? The only company using
that I remember is Ariel Resources. They are only experimenting
with a 150 ton/day size vat and if successful they plan to
build a 1000 tons/day vat. They have to use it because they
have too much rainfall in their mine site so they have to
enclose their leach in a vat. But in IPMCF's case, I think the
property is in Arizona and does not have that much rainfall.
Why can't they just use heap leaching (maybe modified) but instead have to built, experiment and test a humougous vat to do the leaching?
