I diagree with you on servers alone taking intel into $200. That is sort of unrealistic, IMHO. Indeed intel took a chunk of the market from other players and since I am not an expert in the field I would just give my own experience -- my company jumped into intel based servers last year and this year we are jumping out because of the upgradability problems. Amd and Cyrx are just getting reintroduced into the market and I think dektop is plenty for us right.
Intel is welcome to get all the profit they want from servers now because I do not think that amd and cyrx are targeting that market anyway.
