Fritz: That's what I had thought too until your post. Now I see I had it partially right afterall. Therefore, if the share total for the day is say 6M then it is possible that only 3M shares traded between an end-buyer and a seller, if you remove the middle-man (MM) from the equation! Live and learn. ;>)
