Jose, The following is from a news release by the co. in December. It was "patent-pending" then. There has been no subsequent report of it having been awarded in the last two months.

Earth's electromagnetic field guides geologists to oil and gas deposits
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 1996--Amalgamated Explorations Inc., Denver (OTC/BB:AXPL) acquired exclusive rights to direct oil finding technology able to map hydrocarbons prior to drilling.
This electro-telluric survey uses the Earth's electromagnetic field to detect oil and gas deposits, disclosing the approximate depths to 17,000 feet. This new patent-pending technology is the latest in oil and gas exploration.
Unlike seismic, this technology can detect the actual hydrocarbon through the Earth's electrical properties, and survey results are read in the field, without disturbing the environment. For the first time, it is possible to determine if the test hole is likely to be dry before drilling. *************
The e-mail stockletter guys trying to blow up the price of this stock were a little less straightforward, I think, in presenting this fact. The following is taken from the initial posting on this thread.
******** "Of course Mr. Jackson applied for patents on his invention, which were subsequently acquired by Amalgamated Explorations." ********
The patent, as far as we know, is still pending. We may suppose that there is no reason to think that it won't be awarded. |
