Yogi, "Unlikely but I wonder because EMC means a great deal to me and it would be a logical target for hyper-aggression from IBM." I suspect that the hyper-aggressive folks at EMC would rather slide down a bed of razor blades than either sell out to IBM or buy drives from them. They drew their initial energy from a powerful antipathy to Big Blue when Big was BIG. I strongly suspect that that sense of rivalry remains. s.
