Not too too long ago I bought IFMX at 4 and ORCL at 30. I watched IFMX move to about 14, then start sliding back in little bites <g>, 1/8 or so at a time. At 10 1/2 I bailed, and am now waiting to get back in, and take the roller coaster again. I don't see why the market doesn't respect IFMX's niches. No, it's not a giant killer like ORCL or the other competitors, but it does have Walmart, the IRS, and some other mighty familiar names in its stable. Meanwhile, I held ORCL as it sunk to 20 or so before the magnificent run to 60, and am still holding even though it has backed off 20%. This is close to sell time for me, since I try to maintain discipline that if a run declines 25% or so, and I've got a nice profit, to sell and move on. While this prevents disasters ( having suffered them, I established the discipline ), I must admit to having sold Mindspring at 20 (after paying 9), and now its what . . .250 or so if you don't count splits. I just don't understand what keeps the lid on IFMX. |
