Steve, Much information. I need time to read to three times to understand! Also thanks for the post on distribution. I belive cpq can ship on a dime, but can the retailers? shipments go to a retail distributor, then sit. Next each stores have set days they recieve trucks, then they recieve the product. Then each store has a set stock rotation===> onto the shelf. I'm curious about the info on the gx that reaches the salesman. I would think there would have to be some lead time to train on the product. Did webtv just showup and the saleman have to figure it out the same day? mike I'm not sure about a business pc, the gx is supposed to be exposed to the whole "thin client" atmosphere.
