You probably saw Fred Hickey's comments in the WSJ today but I haven't seen them posted here. Sounds familiar....where have I heard this stuff before ?<g>

John

Fred Hickey, editor of the High Tech Strategist newsletter, said Dell's report has
ominous implications for technology and, by extension, the entire market. "The
excuse for the weakness in every other computer vendor, reseller and distributor --
that Dell was gaining share -- is not true," he said. "This is not a Dell-specific
problem."

He said a widely anticipated boom in computer sales to businesses hasn't
materialized, and that threatens the very sector that has accounted for a lion's share
of the market's rally since early October. "It's hard for this grossly overpriced market
to see its leaders fall apart one by one and not to be impacted,"
he added.
