I confirmed again tonight that LG did have the electricity turned off to the FAB's during the shutdown and did damage all the wafers in process. I was told they oxidize when left exposed to the air or oxygen too long. If anyone can expand on this I would appreciate it. They indicated it will be 4-6 weeks before any parts even begin to think about shipping out of there. This should be positive for DRAM market pricing, if nothing else keeps it stable. Good trading.
