Actually, I believe Compaq is now focused on gaining retail shelf space. It's kind of like selling green beans at the grocery store. If Green Giant French Cut Green Beans has two facings and all other competitors only one, analysts using sophisticated valuation models, will assign high multiples to the Jolly Green One. Success is measured in inches.

Compaq has clearly triumphed while routing its' competitors with their new strategy. Remember shelf space equals market share. My calculations conclusively show Compaq leading the competition by nearly THREE-QUARTERS of a MILE. And, once people realize these computers were DIRECTLY shipped to CompUSA and BTO by someone somewhere(a desk in Houston?), this stock will soar!!!
